Middle East War Escalates as Tehran Burns, School Bombing Investigation Deepens, and Oil Prices Spike

War between Iran, Israel, and the United States is intensifying with no clear end in sight, as airstrikes, missile attacks, and mounting civilian casualties push the region deeper into crisis.

 

In recent days, the Iranian capital Tehran has been engulfed in smoke after Israeli and US strikes hit multiple oil depots and fuel facilities across the city. Massive fires sent thick plumes of smoke across residential areas, prompting health warnings and raising fears about environmental damage and civilian safety. The bombardment marks a major escalation in the war, with energy infrastructure in and around Tehran now being targeted for the first time.

 

At the same time, the conflict has been darkened by growing controversy surrounding a deadly strike on a girls’ school in southern Iran.
