Donald Trump has put Iran back under pressure, warning that US forces could strike again if Tehran fails to reach a deal. He said Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon, and claimed the US military had been ready for a “full and large-scale attack” against the country.
Trump’s warning quickly drew a counter-threat from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, which said it could “open new fronts” against the United States and its allies if Washington resumes bombing.
