Hollywood’s Starring Role
One of the most surprising chapters of the scandal involved Red Granite Pictures, a Hollywood production company co-founded by Riza Aziz, the stepson of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak.
Investigators traced RM 787 million ($248 million) of stolen funds to Red Granite Pictures. Red Granite famously backed the production of the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street," starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
